Privacy Policy

Last updated September 7, 2026.

This site is operated by Peter Marczak, Sales Representative with Right at Home Realty, Brokerage. It is subject to Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and to Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

What is collected

When you submit a form on this site, the following is recorded:

  • Your name and email address, and your phone number if you provide one.
  • The building or address you asked about, and your timeline, where the form asks.
  • Your message.
  • The fact that you ticked the consent box, and when.
  • The page you submitted from, the page that referred you, your IP address and your browser’s user-agent string.

The last group is technical metadata. It is kept for two reasons only: to detect and block automated form abuse, and to be able to show, if a question is ever raised, when and from where consent to contact you was given.

What is not collected

  • There are no analytics, no advertising pixels and no third-party trackers on this site.
  • No cookies are set for tracking. A session cookie is set only to secure form submissions against cross-site request forgery, and it expires when you close your browser.
  • No payment information is ever requested or accepted through this site.

Why it is collected, and consent

Solely so that Peter Marczak can respond to your enquiry and, if you asked to be kept informed about a building, contact you about it. The consent box on each form is unchecked by default and the form will not submit without it, because under CASL consent to commercial electronic messages has to be express, and under PIPEDA it has to be meaningful.

You can withdraw consent at any time by replying to any message you receive or emailing peter@gtalofts.com. Withdrawal takes effect promptly and permanently.

Who it is shared with

Your information is not sold, rented, traded or passed to third-party lead buyers. It is seen by Peter Marczak. It may also be accessible to Right at Home Realty, Brokerage, which as the responsible brokerage has obligations of its own in respect of client records, and to the site’s hosting provider, which stores the database on its servers.

Form notifications are delivered by email, which is not an encrypted medium. Please do not send anything genuinely sensitive through a web form.

Where it is stored, and for how long

Submissions are stored in a database on the site’s hosting infrastructure, and a copy of the notification exists in the recipient mailbox. Real estate registrants in Ontario are required to retain certain records for defined periods; enquiries that do not become transactions are deleted once they are no longer needed.

Your rights

Under PIPEDA you may ask what personal information about you is held, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, and withdraw consent. Email peter@gtalofts.com and it will be dealt with. If you are not satisfied with the response, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
